#WEDO2020 is our way of enabling that by connecting them with other stakeholders who share the same vision.
What is it: A day-long virtual session for women founders or women-focused businesses to learn from the best mentors, connect with investors & get valuable tool-kits & troubleshooting for their business
Why?:
- Lack of support: Investments made in companies founded or co-founded by women averaged at $935,000, which is less than half the average of $2.1 million invested in their male counterparts.
- Women make more profitable founders: Surprisingly, this disparity existed despite women-led firms performing better over time, generating a 10 percent higher cumulative revenue over a five-year period.
- A wave of Unicorn founders in the US, China: It’s inevitable for that wave to land in India, home to some of the most incredible women-focused businesses & founders. We are enabling the ecosystem for that.
